About the Writer
Meggie Kleary was born in the northeastern United States but has largely lived abroad during her adult life. She has traveled the world as a private chef and superyacht chef, working for well-known plutocrats, celebrities, technological titans, and Middle Eastern royalty.
Her deep love of travel, nature, culture, ethnic foods, and diversity of thought, language, and creative expression is strongly reflected in her writing.
Meggie adores fantasy worlds and the art of storytelling. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her two dogs, Remy and Moonie, and works as a private chef for a billionaire family on an estate in Beverly Hills.
Meggie's reading preferences include epic fantasy, classic literature, unreliable narrators, 18th-century satire, lyrical poetry, and philosophical fiction.

About the Story
As their world tears apart under celestial storms and imperial war, three young women—a dutiful caregiver, a captured noblewoman, and a lone avenger—descendants of the Pleiades star cluster, are sought by secret factions racing to protect those prophesied to either save or doom their dying realm.
