I Turn Pages has several packages for authors to promote their books.
- Book Event Packages
- Yearly Book Promotion Packages
- Genre Ambassadors
- Author Spotlight
- Five-Page Friday
1. Book Event Packages
I Turn Pages gives authors a full events platform built directly into the community, to create, publish, and manage book events of any kind, from virtual launch parties and live Q&As to ARC giveaways, reading challenges, and genre weeks.
You manage your own enrolments, email participants directly, and export attendee data as a CSV.
The benefit is simple: your book event goes in front of an audience that already loves books and is already on the platform looking for exactly what you write. Rather than promoting an event into the void and hoping readers find it, you are publishing into an active, genre-organised community where discovery happens naturally. If you have a book to launch, a reading group to host, or a giveaway to run, this is where your readers already are.
2. Yearly Book Promotion Packages
Our annual author promotion packages give your books a consistent, visible presence on I Turn Pages throughout the year — genre page features, ARC placements, community promotions, and more, depending on the tier you choose.
Unlike paid advertising that stops the moment your paid advert stops, these packages work with our community's organic growth and discovery layer.
Readers browsing their favourite genre find your book featured there > readers looking for advance copies find your ARC request > and readers exploring active communities find yours promoted.
The more active your community is on I Turn Pages and the longer you are engaging in the community, the more each feature benefits from the readership we are building around you.
For authors who are serious about growing a reader base rather than chasing one-off sales spikes, an annual package is the most cost-effective way to stay visible to the right readers all year long.

3. Genre Ambassadors
Genre Ambassadors are published authors who lead the community within their genre on I Turn Pages. There is one Genre Ambassador per genre — a single, prestigious role that puts one author at the centre of the reader community that already loves their kind of books.
Ambassadors post content in their genre groups, spark reading discussions, respond to reader questions, and help lead genre events. The commitment is intentionally light — it should feel like an opportunity, not a job. In return, Ambassadors are featured on our dedicated Genre Ambassadors page visible to every reader, author, and publisher on our community; their profile is promoted across I Turn Pages and featured in our newsletter, and they are recognised as the community authority in their genre.
For the right author, there is no better way to build a loyal reader base than to be the person readers think of first when they think of their genre.
4. Author Spotlight
A permanent editorial feature on I Turn Pages, written about you and your book, and published to an audience of genre readers actively looking for their next read.
What You Get
Here are just some of the benefits for published authors who want to reach new readers in their genre.
- Your Author Spotlight lives permanently on I Turn Pages, indexed and discoverable long after your book launch week is over. Unlike a social media post, it does not disappear into a feed. Readers finding your genre months from now will find you too.
- Your Author Spotlight tells your story — your book, your influences, your writing life — in a format readers trust. It sits alongside spotlights on established authors in your genre, which is exactly the company your book should be keeping.
- Your Author Spotlight links to your author profile, which features your books, your stream and shows the community you are building.
- Your Author Spotlight features a similar book tag which will help readers to find you in other areas of the community.
How It Works
Submit the following:
- Your author biography of around 100 words. Write it in the third person as you would for a back cover or press kit.
- Your answers to three to five questions of your choice about your writing process, your influences, and what you want readers to take from your book.
- A high-resolution author photograph and the same for your book cover image.
- A similar book we can tag.
Your Spotlight goes live on a scheduled publication date, promoted across I Turn Pages channels on the day. It remains live and discoverable and you can follow it to ensure it shows on your author stream.
You can include a book already published, or to be published within the next few months. If you are booking a slot long in advance, you can add the published date to the claim form after you place your order.

Five-Page Friday
Put your opening pages directly in front of genre readers who are actively looking for their next book, and let your writing do the talking.
What You Get
Here are just some of the benefits for authors who want readers to fall in love with their writing before they commit to buying.
- The hardest sell in publishing, done for you: Getting a reader past the first page is the whole game. Five-Page Friday puts your opening directly in front of genre readers — no Amazon algorithm, no advertising auction, no competing with a hundred other books for the same reader's attention — just your opening pages in front of the right genre audience.
- Comments that tell you what is landing: Readers respond to what pulls them in, what hooks them, what makes them want more. That feedback is yours. It is also visible to every other reader on the page, which means an active comment thread becomes its own form of social proof.
- A direct route to your book: Every Five-Page Friday entry carries a prominent link to purchase your book. Readers who reach the end of your five pages and want more have one click between them and buying it.
How It Works
Submit the following:
- Your opening five pages, up to 2,250 words. This must be the true opening of the book — chapter one, page one. No excerpts, no prologues pulled from later in the story.
- A one-paragraph synopsis of no more than 150 words. This appears beneath your excerpt so readers know where the story is going.
- Your book cover image and purchase link.
Your entry goes live on a Friday on the Five-Page Friday page. It remains discoverable in the archive after its featured week, linked from your author profile and your book page on I Turn Pages.
You can include a book already published, or to be published within the next few months. If you are booking a slot long in advance, you can add the published date to the claim form after you place your order.
Optional Extras
Story Bible: A summary of your main hero and villain who appear in your opening pages, your world's rules, character traits and key lore, around 1,000 words. Keep it punchy — this is a teaser, not a reference document. Readers can use it to orientate themselves, and it attracts more comments feedback.
It must be provided in a PDF and to quality standards, otherwise it will be rejected.
If you don't have a Story Bible, we can create one for you. A Story Bible Starter gives you one front page image and your text styled in your genre's theme, and a Story Bible Plus gives you images for each section.
