Series readers: do you binge a whole series back to back, or space the books out? Does it change how much you enjoy them?

I binged the Shardlake series, which follows the Tudor-era lawyer and investigator Matthew Shardlake who solves crimes during the reign of King Henry VIII. Sadly, the author, C.J. Sansom, passed away last year so nothing more in that series to binge. The last book was a brick but I still binged it. If anyone is interested start with Dissolution and go through each book in turn and the series ends with Tombland, aka 'the brick.' I found that binging them made me enjoy them more because I couldn't wait for the next book.

I've just started The Last Kingdom series and think it's going to be a binge job. I watched it on Netflix and loved it so decided to read the books.
