The Thatcher family and three of their neighbours embark on a new life on another planet but are things as straightforward as they first imagine? Two boys walk into a Police Station and report that their girlfriends have gone ‘missing’. The next day the boys not only don’t remember ever going to the Police but even that they ever knew the two girls. In fact, when DCI Branigan starts investigating the girl’s disappearance NO ONE remembers ever knowing them or anyone in the four families! What is going on? Why do the aliens want all trace of the four families erased, like they never existed? And why are the authorities so anxious that DCI Branigan drop the investigation that they will even resort to murder!!
