Robert and Samantha meet online whilst locked down using a strange machine they find. They realise they are separated in time. How was the machine's design passed back to their ancestor?
Robert and Samantha, a young couple, meet and fall in love online whilst "locked down", using a strange machine to make the connection. However, all is not as it seems. They finally discover that they are separated not by distance but by time. Their remote love affair ends abruptly after Sam’s machine fails, but not before she has persuaded Robert to lodge a sperm donation for her. She bears him a clever daughter who becomes a specialist in Quantum Theory and uses her skills to design a machine to communicate across time. But how does her design find its way back to her Victorian ancestor?
