Genre Romance
When their estranged uncle passes away and gives them a hotel in Florida, Sheena, Regan, and Darcy think they have hit the jackpot. In order to keep the hotel and a large inheritance, the sisters must live on the premises for one year leaving behind their families, jobs, and security. Upon arrival in Florida, they realize that the luxury hotel they thought they were getting, actually is a rundown resort that needs lots of repairs. They have also inherited Uncle Gavin’s group of friends that he is permitting to live on the premises. Sheena finds that working on the hotel is pulling her family (still in Boston) apart. Regan and Darcy seem to be fighting over the same guys while also trying to show that they are mature and have hidden talents. This book is the first in the Salty Key Inn series by the Judith Keim. While some of the story has questions answered, you are left hanging (to read the next book) to see what happens with the hotel and its unlikely residents. This book is about each sister trying to discover what they want out of life as well as working together to form a strong bond and more loving relationships.
