Embark on a captivating journey with D. L. Finn as she guides you through the intricate landscapes of free verse and symbolic poetry. Hike with her through the magical forest, feel the wind on your face riding on the back of a Harley, or bask on the warm Hawaiian shores. Her search for life’s magic invites the reader to traverse through the four seasons in part one. Emotions, observations, and stories weave through part two’s texture. Whether the words explore a sunset, healing, or magic, each poem flows through moments where poetry blooms.

Flowers For Broken Women is an encouraging collection of poetry created for broken women (and girls) who love, courageously, in spite of their scars.

Time heals all wounds but memories linger like a lullaby sung in hushed tones, drifting out of an open window and into the night sky. Nighttime Lullabies is a tale of love as it comes into our life, hovers over us, leaves and, sometimes, comes back for a second chance.

It is within our human nature to find ourselves searching endlessly. And in our searching, we often wander away from the comfort and stability that has been supplied to us by grace. When we have wandered far enough, a longing begins to arise within us. It is love that ultimately fills this longing, beckoning us back to that perfect place where we first found our rest.

TORN BITS & PIECES is a collection of poetry which includes Black Eyes, Blood of My Father, Bluebells & Fuchsia, Collective Obsessions (poetic rendering based on the fictional saga of the same name by Deidre Dalton), Color Me Woe, Confusion & Mr.

In the 1980s, I was a teenager trying to find my place in the world. Poetry was one of my coping mechanisms. In love: I hoped. I dreamed. I imagined. I experienced. In life: I struggled. I hated. I cried for help. I hoped. I overcame. I could be complex. I could be simple. I could be powerful. Misunderstood. Frustrated. In other words: A confused teenager using words to help cope. There was often beauty in that.

TRUE POWER OF LOVE: MIRACLES OF JESUS IN POETIC VERSES is the 50th publication and 4th Christian book of Author Brenda Mohammed. It is a book of poetic verses about the miracles performed by Jesus Christ, that were beyond the reach of human action and natural causes. Through the power of God, Jesus healed the sick, walked on water, raised the dead, calmed the sea, and turned water into wine. Those miracles fulfilled ancient prophecies, demonstrated His Divinity, and validated whom He said He was. Jesus Christ came to earth to fulfill God's new covenant.

Review:

Remember when you first learned that a grouping of owls was a parliament? In his second poetry collection, Leon Stevens explores familiar themes such as human nature, the environment, and personal observations, many with a touch of humor. Also included are the poems from the 30 Poems in 30 Days Challenge and a short story inspired by one of them.

Lines by Leon is an eclectic mix of poetry, prose, and short stories that address the subjects of loss, struggle, human behavior, and environment in both humorous and thought-provoking ways. The author invites his readers to laugh, think, cry, and meditate on the wide variety of topics. Scattered throughout the book are sketches of various subjects, many that relate to the poems and stories they illustrate; others speak for themselves.

From a talking pigeon to a mirror that sees all, Notes on the Train brings you closer to the author’s struggle with depression and change through the landscape of life. Not all battles are fought with weapons of war. Some battles rage within the mind and soul and take no prisoners. This book is a collection of poems and prose written by the author on her journey of self-discovery.

Review:

Review: "His poetry is honest and direct. Each word is effective. Each word is easily understood. Unlike so many others today, he writes from the heart and soul, from raw emotion; he has drawn on his wide ranging knowledge and experience to evolve a style, an elevated poetic diction, which eschews artifice and ornate language. To do otherwise, to court obscurity, to write for just a small coterie, would be for him to miss the mark. Dave Lewis’ poetry is for everyone, not just the metropolitan intelligentsia, or Arts Council elite, or pseudo University academics." – John Evans
