Murder mystery novel

If you could find criminals before they commit crimes...what would you do about it? A vigilante has appeared on the streets, taking justice into their own hands, and no one is safe. The police are baffled for one reason - the vigilante somehow anticipates where criminals will strike. Before they do. It's technology vs. toughness, as Inspector Locke has to out-think a blockchain-powered, social media-wielding opponent. Will he make it in time to save the next victim of this "Man with the Silver Cane"?

Trevor Locke used to solve cases for the FBI. Now he trudges through a quiet early-retirement routine in the San Francisco Bay Area. Until an old friend's brother turns up dead. For no reason. When Trevor agrees to help, he finds out that the victim moved 3 times in a year. Running from something. But nobody knows the reason for that either.
