Military Techno-Thriller

A short military thriller about one man's critical decision: Captain Mike Drake, four combat tour veteran and 38-year-old new father of twin girls, just retired. He's traded in his Company of M1 Abrams tanks for a silver Hyundai Sonata. He retired because he'd had enough of death and split second thinking. Now, situational awareness firing on all cylinders, he must make an instant life or death decision. Run him over, or not?

Lieutenant Harper, surfing Army Engineer, must pass the Ranger Assessment and Selection Program (RASP). He's promised Michelle, his ex-girlfriend CIA Officer, to be one of the few selected for the coveted 75th Regimental scroll. She's recruited him to back her up by commanding a Military Intelligence platoon in Korea. RASP won't be easy. Harper must lead a pair of enlisted Ranger candidates to victory. Captain Dobbs, an infantry officer also competing for selection, has Harper's number. Aggressive officers battle head-to-head in each task; Engineer vs. Infantry.
