Unfortunately for Ike Krane, his parents had a wicked sense of humor. The problem—trouble seems to follow Ike just as it did his fictional predecessor. It all started back in 1888, when all the adults vanished, leaving behind only the children. No one knows what happened to the adults, but there is no end to the rumors flying around. One particularly persistent rumor involves a cabin in the woods, and what supposedly lives in it. Some say if you can find it, you’ll be granted your deepest wish.

If you've got a problem, Charlie Kingsley probably has a tea that’ll help make it right. EXCEPT when it comes to love. She does NOT do love potions. Not even for Courtney, her pregnant new client who showed up three weeks before Christmas seeking a love potion because her husband was cheating on her. So, Courtney asked about poison, instead. But then Polly, a local teenager, goes missing. Of course, teenagers DO run away from time to time.

Charlie Kingsley is NOT a doctor. She is very clear about this to all her customers who purchase her teas and tinctures. But, somehow that doesn't stop her customers from treating her like a doctor. Including calling her in the middle of the night to help with an emergency. What's the emergency? Her customer's daughter, Cyndi, was attacked by a ... gargoyle? But gargoyles aren't real! Right? So, who attacked Cyndi? And whose next?
