Victoria Brentwood's decades-long friend and her beloved Minuit's dog-walker, Cameron Mitchell is killed in a hit-and-run while at Memorial Park for his daily run with the black greyhound. His last act was to push her away from the speeding car. Cam's hit-and-run seems too much like the "accident" that killed her husband two decades earlier. She knows the police will never connect the two so she calls on her daughter Hildy and granddaughter Grace along with their fur buddies and friends to find answers.
