Children's Literature includes stories, books, magazines, and poems that are created for children from 0 to 12 years old, and can be both fiction and non-fiction books written especially for children.

Children’s Literature showcases children’s themes, style, plot, subject matter, and even gender issues.

The genre covers a wide range of works, including acknowledged classics of world literature, picture books and easy-to-read stories written exclusively for children. This includes fairy tales, lullabies, fables, folklore and picture books.
